Since we have returned from our break in the United States,we have noticed that the following items seem to have gone missing from our apartment:
-One toenail clipper
-Our souk bag
-One USB key
I expect to lose or misplace things when I'm moving, or to leave things or misplace things that I've taken with me while traveling, but how in the world have I managed to lose items in the apartment while I wasn't even here?
My housekeeper lost a belt for a dress. From me putting it in my laundry basket to her washing and drying it on my patio to ironing it in my living room to laying it on my bed for me to put away - somehow the belt was lost. How? How? And then she wouldn't even apologize or accept responsibility. "I pressed it," she said. BUT YOU DIDN'T PUT IT AWAY WITH THE DRESS OR ANYPLACE ELSE.
ReplyDeleteHaving a housekeeper (or more than one) definitely seems to be a contributing factor to stuff disappearing.
