1. In two days, we will close on our house in Powell.
2. In six days, we will begin our 24+ hour journey to Nebraska (Ifrane to Casa, Casa to Lisbon, Lisbon to Newark, Newark to Chicago, Chicago to Omaha, Omaha to David City).
3. In 49 days, if I have any money, I will begin my graduate program.
Right now, I'm waiting.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, quiet, moment while you wait. Even though there are probably a million things to do until you leave, it's important to honor the moment. I'm guessing the day is gone when one has to travel back to sign off on the sale of a house. Even though it leaves one less tie to Powell, I'm very happy for you. And very happy that you get to travel back home this summer. Have a wonderful trip!
