The cruelest month

I think April forgot to take her medications. One day it is warm and sunny outside, and we are all sitting in the sun drinking tea, and the next day it is raining or sleeting and cold enough to kill a kitten.

This morning, I woke up to a good one or two inches of real snow on the ground. It wasn't a surprise, since yesterday evening it became very, very cold, and there was a howling wind blowing snow around when I went to bed. But it still seems unfair to be living in Africa and to wake up to snow in mid-April.
