I wouldn't call the dolls themselves creepy. :) The setting's a bit incongruous, though. Maybe that's what provides the slightly unnerving effect.
These kinds of dolls creep me out regardless of the setting. They don't do the same to you?
Ummm... no. I don't have (and never had) much of an emotional reaction to dolls.
Interesting! Both my American and Canadian friend who were with me also found these dolls to be creepy. Maybe it's cultural...or maybe the three of us are just weird. :)
